Born in Milan to an Italian mother and
a South African father, Eric has been professionally acting for more than 15 years
both in movies and theatre in Italy.

Already at a young age Eric shows a strong attraction to the world of the theatre and cinema, not unlikely due to the vein of art and show business which runs in the family, his father a composer, his aunt an actress and his uncle an orchestra conductor.

At 17 Eric leaves for the United States where he stays for a year. It is in this period that he has the possibility to come into contact with musical theatre and prose.

Back in Italy, while finishing high school, Eric prepares for the entrance exams to the actors Academy in Milan, the elite "Filodrammatici" , where he is accepted on a scholarship with nine other young men for a three year course.

The Academy behind him, Eric enters various theatrical companies and begins to travel the whole of Italy: Besides the major theaters of Bolzano, Rome, Milan and Bologna, Eric works with several different theatrical companies.
It’s offstage in these touring years that he starts writing his film projects.

In an intensive film workshop in New York Eric gets his chance to produce and direct his first 16mm short film -Why Caged Birds Sing.
Back in Italy Eric begins to combine his work in the theatre with an increasing amount of over-voicing for cinema and television.

But behind all this activity Eric is still working on film-making. In 2001 he makes his second short film - “Even the sun sets” with a popular cast of highly professional Italian actors. "Even the sun sets" brings Eric numerous prizes and is acclaimed by both public and critics.

In 2002 Eric becomes member of the board of directors of the ADC group, a Milan based company renowned for quality film dubbing.

In 2005 is engaged by producer Michele Castellano to direct TUFFI. Short film entirely shot in Genova. The film wins and tours numerous film festivals in Italy.

DUBBLE -Doppio is his first feature film that he worte, directed and starred in. The movie just won a Gold Remi Award at the Houston Film Festival.

True to his acting origins, even with a full schedule of work on stage, television and over-voicing, he keeps working on his future film projects.
